Jake- killer: Orange jumpsuit and brown boots, with mad hair

• The jumpsuit is to resemble an escaped mental patient and we styled his hair so it was crazy and wild so that he looks mad.

Katelin- little boy: white t-shirt, blue jeans and trainers

• We dressed this young girl in boys clothing shes portraying a younger virsion of the killer.

Phoebe- Ruby: black skirt, tights, cheetah print top and red coat

• This character had to be styled in girly clothing to follow the stereotype of horror films that the girly girl will always get killed first.

Poppy- Casey: blue jeans, t-shirt, black coat and white trainers.

• We styled this character in boyish clothing as she is our final girl and has to have male traits to follow the horror stereotype.

Matt- Kyle: blue jeans, grey jumper and white trainers.

• This character was styled like this to match the identity of a young teenager going camping.

One of the young girls that goes camping in the woods. stereotypically has male traits such as braveness, will confront the killer. Final girl character

One of the young girls that goes camping in the woods. she is stereotypically the one in the group that  panics and causes suspense with in the trailer.

Another one of the teenagers on the camping trip. He is loud and out going, he smokes and drinks alcohol so will be one of the first to be killed.

Are target audience for are horror film is likely to be Male and within the age range of 15-24 the reason for this is that it’s the largest group of cinema goers are people aged between 15 and 24 and males because they tend to seek thrill and action within films whereas females typically prefer genres such as come comedy and romance because it is lighter entertainment. are film is action packed with some thrill which is perfect for this target audience.

Planning post- Full film idea

The narrative story of are film "surprise" is that a group of curious, outgoing teenages go camping for the weekend in an abandoned forrest. This is are equilibrium as everything is calm and looks as though its calm and will be a fun weekend. They decide to go camping because of some documents they had found, which stated that a ferrell child was left there and was found later by the police when he was an adult and was arrested for murdering anyone who entered his woods. The documents stated that he was then transfered to a mental hospital as it was found that he schizophrenia and is still there to this day. Once in the woods the teenages here a radio pod cast about an escapy Schizophrenic, murderer on the loose.
 

They begin to panic but think nothing of it and carry on having a good time. The villan in this story is the murderer which is one character type of Propp's theory. The binary opposit is the hero which in this case is our final girl character (casey). The distruption of the equilibrium starts as the killer starts teasing his victoms then killing off a few of the teenagers. The fist of the teenages to die is the rebeliouse ones such as either drinking, smoking. The teenagers then recognise that the murderer was infact the one from this specific woods and decidde to either run from the villan or try to confront him. The final girl character is the last person teenager to survive and confronts the villan and kills him with his own knife. this was the attempt to repair the distruption to the equilibrium.

after this act the final girl leaves the woods to find her family and friends waiting for her, although a lot of the cast died. she will continue on with her life and the reinstatement of the equilibrium is restored.
